Tired and not feeling very good today. I finished plying the black yarns as well as some other yarns I spindle spun. They are in the bathroom drying. Going to start spinning up fiber to dye. My goal is to have everything spun up and dyed by Maryland Sheep and Wool festival time so I won’t feel guilty buying more Cringes
So…today is my last half day using up my vacation time.
The contractors came over yesterday to assess the house and the repairs that will be needed.
I need to figure out what is wrong with my water reservoir on the truck. Moya also needs a good cleaning inside and out. The kids need to vacuum the attic stairs. I’m two seconds away from ripping out the carpet up there period.
I’ve been burning my remaining vacation by taking half days this month. Next year I will use my vacation time to try and attend more of the babies school activities. Hopefully, they will be healthy next year. I have to bust out some more scarves and hats for xmas presents and work on the sad sad budget. Junior and I will work on his science project tonight. Tomorrow we will make more xmas ornaments for the tree. Saturday and Sunday I will make sugar cookies for Santa and some chocolate chip. Still cleaning the house Well, tonight we are invited to the Chesapeake Deep Creek Chapter Annual Ruritan Club Christmas Party. It’s cold outside. Not sure if I will make it. KC and KReel put up the X-mas tree at the office…sad sad ugly little tree ha ha ha ha. I hate Holidays. They should write a song about it…that isn’t related to Dr. Seus.
Good Morning!
Well. We had to split kids last night for the Annual Christmas Concerts. Dale went to Marissa’s because that required “night” driving and I went to Juniors because it was in walking distance of the house. We had a good time. He played his viola and I recorded it. The pre-k kids were adorable as ususal. There was one cute little boy who cried the entire time during their act. The kids did a great job and a good time was had by all.
Fanfiction Archives. Farscape Escape Fanfiction Archive is back up and running. Feel free to join and post all your old fics etc. I am still working on a Farscape themed template but that’s just window dressing.
Spinning: Working on some roving I ordered from Wysteria. Spinning it on my spindle I got from Maryland Sheep and wool last year. Not sure if in 2010 I will be going with the Knitting Guild or going for an extended visit. Since we are trying to stick to Dave Ramsey’s plan to financial freedom and debt free living I will probably go with the Guild for the day trip up.

. Then I will add everything to my Etsy shop and cross my fingers. I’m going to try and build my own light box for better pictures. Most of my yarns end up being finger/lace weight so my goal is to spin a “sock” weight yarn for dyeing.
. I need to come up with a schedule and stick to it for cleaning, WOW raiding, knitting guild meetings, yarn for breakfast and yarn for supper meetings, etc.
