So called American Justice

First, the company had been double dipping from our bank account. Then we  find out that the payments they were taking from our bank account were being credited to another client of theirs. This explains why the payments weren’t being credited to our account with them.

Here we are thinking we are paying our debt  and we weren’t! We were paying another person’s bill off instead of double payments to ours.

Now this person knew that he wasn’t paying those extra payments to his account but he saw nothing wrong with “stealing” our money to pay off his debt.  So now they owe us a refund and then some if you ask me. I should run this by a lawyer. I’m tired of being the nice one. They also owe us late charges they wrongfully claimed against us etc. The lesson here is to always always check your bank statements and  question any charge that you are uncomfortable with.  Another lesson learned!

I have no earthly idea. It is not working for me yet. I should have gone into nursing or something. In case people actually read this blog my degree is in Visual Communications and Graphic Design. My strong suit is web design. Yes I know a little flash, a little mysql and php (enough to install blogs and other php scripts like forums etc. I can also edit their templates. I can make simple flash banners. I can edit your web site content. I can do a lot of things :P. I can give you advice on the best type of web site for your needs and if I don’t have the skills to do it I can find someone who does that is also affordable. I can give you tutorials and teach you how to do some of your own web site maintenance and updating.  So hire me.

I am trying the Usana Reset Program to help augment my “life changes” towards my weight loss goals. I’ll let you know how that works out for me. So far on my own I’ve already lost 16lbs. My goal is to walk/jog/run the Great Dismal Swamp Stomp 2009 with KC next year. So wish me luck!

If you own real estate and you receive unsolicited mail concerning your real estate always check with YOUR attorney who closed your transaction before responding to any of these inquiries. For instance, we received a letter saying we needed to use this service to get a copy of our deed. I know that I can get a copy for 10 bucks from the court house. They wanted $69.12. We actually had a client that called us about this letter. I can’t imagine the number of local people who aren’t English speakers or who are elderly or who just don’t know that they can get a certified true copy or a notarized true copy of their deed at any time from the court house register of deeds. They also should have their original. Original deeds are returned to the purchaser after they are recorded by the real estate title company or attorney that handled the  transaction.  So never respond to these things unless you are just rich and don’t mind wasting 70 bucks. Well…what can I say? I went to the forums. I’m not the same person that arrived there five minutes late on Friday morning. I’ll speak more on the weekend when I get home. Posting this very quickly. If you read my sucky blog and a friend has invited you to the Forum then you should go. They aren’t really inviting you for you. They are inviting you to the forums for themselves. They’ve done the forum and they are committed to maintaining their personal integrity and their word. They are their words… So they invite you to enroll you into their new life. It makes it easier for them to maintain their personal integrity if they have people they truly love and care about who are on the same page.

I didn’t get it when my husband came home from the forum and he said you really should go so we’ll be on the same page. Now I understand what he meant and I thank him and love him for coaxing me along until I accepted my bosses offer to help finance my attending. Yes my boss is also a graduate of the Landmark Forums he’s done the advanced classes.

It was AWESOME! The food was amazing. If I had to judge the samples we tasted I’d have to say hands down The City Docks’s crab cake with mango marsella sauce was the best. Second I’d give to the restaurant with the Scallop wrapped in bacon on top of a bed of “sweet potatoe grits”. I think the restaurant was Sterling’s but I’m not sure. I have to check their menu I picked up. I will definitely be planning the odd night out at one of those two restaurants. There were many other offerings that were tasty as well but hands down those two….well…they were amazing.

Okay I really have to get that stuff on the list done.

I played Wow last night for the first time in about 3 or 4 weeks. I realize I don’t miss the game :). So I’m going to have to remove myself as an active raider and stick myself in the alt guild or something.
